The recent Glass Industry Panel Discussion brought together a distinguished lineup of experts and manufacturers for an insightful conversation on the evolving landscape of the glass industry. Held in Houston, the event explored cutting-edge trends, innovative practices, and the challenges shaping the future of this dynamic sector.

The panel featured respected voices from various corners of the industry, including architectural glass, custom installations, and large-scale manufacturing:

  • Shk. Tahir Bhai Kanchwala (Moderator) – CEO, CRAFTEC Architectural Glass

  • Mansoor Bhai Amirali (Speaker) – Owner, Serene Glass

Women Entrepreneurs

This month, Al-Tijaarat Al-Raabeheh, Houston, facilitated a Networking Event for Women Entrepreneurs!  The event was open to all, but was focused on women businesses.

 

The event kicked off with Tilawat Al Quran, and an open networking session over chai.  This event was designed to connect women who are managing and growing their businesses, offering a space to share insights, challenges, and successes across various scales. With over 25 participants, our entrepreneurs introduced themselves and their business and shared what they hope to find by collaborating with others.

 

Some resources were also shared with the participants: Johar’s Place, a Houston born initiative bringing together women in business and empowering them with tools, resources, and unwavering support to help them achieve their goals, as well as the North American Tijaarat Raabehah WhatsApp community which helps provide a network across all North American business owners and professionals. 

 

This was a dynamic networking session focused on empowering women entrepreneurs at every stage—from home-based businesses to small enterprises and corporations!
